MORNING UPDATE - February 26, 2014

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Wednesday! It's nice and white outside yet again - but at least we are secure in knowing that this year Phil was right. I tried to do a preemptive strike and feed George before he starts complaining, but no dice - he is ignoring his food and getting ready to whine. Sniff is in his demented horse mood - running around like crazy.
The crazy upstairs does not leave her post for anything.
Yesterday came to work to a prominent display of Rush's book - because yet another one of his is coming out soon.
Also yesterday the rumors were flying that our humble establishment was visited by Chris Noth - and I horrified my co-workers by telling them that I despise the dude (and not for his Mr. Big performance).
"How to go from brunette to blonde" - discussion of Julia Roberts and her hair. Nah, thanks, I am staying brunette.
"2 ways to apply blush" - silly me, only applying it one way.
Robin Thicke and wife split - duh! What took her so long?
"Reasons to drink red wine" - why should there be reasons?
Kaley Cuoco has a pet peacock - is he as psychotic as my pets?
Girl Scouts in Colorado are forbidden to sell their cookies outside the pot dispensaries - why?!!! It's a perfect set-up!
And, finally, considering the fact that our boys lost the final hockey match to the Canadians, it looks like we might have to keep Bieber for a while - but, guys, I don't hold it against you. You beat the Russians! After that, I can deal with Bieber for another period of time.

MORNING UPDATE - December 23

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! It's raining, darn it! Cats look sleepy all the time. Sniff lost his interest in the hallway for a little while.
All quite on the crazy front.
Currently trending at #1 is Porsha Stewart - because she "may be getting axed from the Real Housewives of Atlanta". A profound loss to humanity, what can I say.
Trending at #7 is Dennis Rodman - because he left North Korea without meeting their glorious leader. I assume the tour of their forced labor camps was not on the agenda as well.
Trending at #4 is Mila Kunis - who was spending some quality time with Ashton, and they both seem to "be all right"; I guess till he cheats on her.
Cholesterol is trending at #5 - oh, get lost already! Let people enjoy their holiday food in peace!
"Top New Year Eve's spots" - the very top spot being my bed (no pun intended).
Justin Bieber's journals are being released today - wow! Really?!!
Julia Roberts claimed that she is happy with the spotlight being on the Kardashians because this way it's not focused on her - why so modest, Julia?
And, finally, Kate was praised for "rocking the redo looks" - meaning, her recycled outfits look just as good on her the second time as they do the first. Michelle Obama, on the other hand, does not "rock" her outfits even the first time around.

MORNING UPDATE - OCTOBER 10

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! The weather is still a bit iffy, but not bad for NY October. George continues to drive us crazy with his insane feeding demands - but we still love the old coot. Sniff is back to his waiting by the bathroom door routine - and this time he sits right in the corner and waits for us. He was also reprimanded this morning for walking all over Baby Bro's laptop and leaving fur all over it. The said reprimand was met with his usual feline stare.
The crazy upstairs is up to her usual stuff.
Someone else is moving into our building - more screaming and cursing by the front door in 5, 4, 3...
The biggest entertainment at the Farm Market is observing various hippies (especially guys) buying greens - almost like a field trip to Bellevue.
Currently trending at #5 is Erin Brokovich - because she is started some kind of "grass root" campaign against some kind of birth control. Envisioning "Erin Brockovich II" with Julia Roberts playing the lead again and getting another Oscar for it.
Trending at #6 is Sheryl Crow - because, according to some kind of new book, she told about Lance's "blood procedures". Well, I guess she had to take off precious time out of her environmental crusades in order to do that; what a selfless dedication to the causes!
"Why some women aren't happy with Macy's" - are you ready for this? Because the prices on women's clothes are high! Wow! What a profound piece of journalism right here!
"Kanye ends feud with Jimmy Kimmel" - yo, Norway! 2 Peace Nobels right here!!!
One of the "Hunger Games" actor claimed that he is "mostly straight" - forgive me for the cliche, but who gives a rat's ass?
"Exercises for sleek, sexy legs" - how about exercises for healthy legs and the rest of your body?
"Miley Cyrus's next opportunity to shock" - I shudder to even imagine it; on the side note, her parents are bastards - that's my opinion, and I am sticking to it.
"Justin Bieber is Ripped! Trainer Reveals Workout Secrets" - how about starting the workout on his minuscule brain and non-existent manners?
And, finally, the perfume that Kate wore on her wedding day is now available for purchase - of course, wearing it does not guarantee you will attract a prince.

MORNING UPDATE - AUGUST 23

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Friday! Happy Erev Shabat! The weather is not bad - so far. Feline companions really tested my patience this morning, and are now resting from their hard labors. 
Was tortured by over 2 hours of CNN this morning! Whoever thinks it's a news service - serious or otherwise - needs to be medicated!
Two nights ago discovered another reason to love Trader Joe's - you can go there for kosher poultry around Holiday season! Better prices and nicer looking merchandise!
Currently trending at #1 is Elizabeth Hasselbeck - because now we know the official date of her start with Fox and Friends. Big deal!
Trending at #3: Third gender option - Germany is the first country to offer this option on a birth certificate. Come again?!! What third gender?!! It's either a boy or a girl - what else is there? Psychotic politically correct left-winger? That's not a gender - plus, it's not evident at birth.
Jennifer Hudson "becomes first black Disney princess" - she was dressed up as Princess Tiana in Annie Leibovitz's shot. Jeepers, what an achievement! Up there with developing the polio vaccine, that is.
Kanye "unveiled" the first photo of his daughter and added that he hopes she would look like her mother - yea, Kanye, she would benefit from looking like her mother more than from looking like you. Unfortunately, she would still have a combination of her parents' brains!
Julia Roberts was spotted on a beach wearing "poncho style" sweater instead of a bathing suit - as long as she was not doing her usual political garbage, I don't care in what get up she wanted to swim.
"Sorry Coffee Snobs, America's Favorite Is Still Folgers" - drat. I guess I am a coffee snob, as I don't like Folgers.
