Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! It's hot, but not humid - not bad for August in NY.
This morning missed an opportunity of taking a great shot of our cats waiting for their breakfast - the scene was simply priceless.
Still did not refill our booze supplies.
Currently trending at #6 is Solange Knowles - because, after "rocking" the red carpet at the MTV VMAs, she was "MIA". Well, duh - Jay Z was there! I guess she did not feel like having another public fight.
Selena Gomez is at # 2 - for reasons unknown; but it looks like her fans are called "Selenators". This generation really scares me sometimes...
Scott Disick is at # 8 - because he "Insists He Is No Longer A Boozing Creeper". Look at the previous statement.
Kris Jenner is at # 9 because she and her grandkids "Do San Diego Zoo". My mom also took her grandkids to the zoo, but they did not "Do It", and, for some reasons, it did not make the news.
Eva Longoria is at # 10 - because she is scheduled to appear at in the three episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. So it looks like she will take time out of her very busy schedule of campaigning for the rights of illegals and dedicate some of it to her mediocre acting.
In the news of hairdos is Justin Timberlake - who "shows highlights".
Latest wardrobe malfunction - Nicki Minaj at the above-mentioned VMAs.
"Police helicopter catches marriage proposal" - man, that must have been some proposal! Really hope she said "yes".
"Easy, foolproof mayo recipe" - go to the store, get a jar of Hellman's on sale.
"Justin Bieber was reportedly caught up in the shooting at Chris Brown's pre-VMA party" - since no one was really hurt at that bash, the world of music suffered tremendous loses.

MORNING UPDATE - March 26, 2014
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Wednesday! It's sunny and bloody freezing outside! IT's the end of March - global warming, my foot!
Sniff spent half the night sleeping on the radiator, and is now running around with his tail in the air. George is hunting sparrows and local barbarians on my window.
The crazy upstairs is strangely silent - too cold for her?
Currently trending at #1 is somebody named Robin Roberts - who, according to Google, is a "television personality", and she is going to guest-judge DWTS. Be still, my heart!
Trending at #4 is Staten Island clown - who is "creeping out" Staten Island. I suppose as opposed to our dear mayor, who is just effin up all 5 boroughs. Plus, he still has 315,998 potholes to repair.
Trending at #9 is Dwayne Johnson - because of his "Hercules body secrets". Spare me!
Justin Timeberlake "treated" Jessica Biel to a "romantic gate-away" to Barbados. Aw, how sweet! Would like to go to Barbados too - and it does not have to be romantic, just warm.
"Bad news for meat lovers" - prices are rising too fast. Well, duh! For this, and many other things, you can thank our current government and the environmentalist cabal.
Britain "answered" to Porsche 911 with a new Jaguar model - because that's the biggest concern of great Britain, to make sure their luxury cars are the best in the world.
"Justin Bieber poses semi-shirtless, teases Calvin Klein campaign" - whatever that means.
"One of Kate Middleton's favorite shoes, Hobbs, arrives in the US" - fashionistas, rejoice!

MORNING UPDATE - NOVEMBER 12
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Tuesday! We had snow earlier - so, no flippies today.
Sniff decided to wake me up by walking on my hair, and then I was greeted by his Egyptian god expression coming from the cat house. George was unusually quiet almost the whole morning, and then he decided to make up for it a bit. For now he is snoozing on my bed.
Seeing people with strollers in Greenwich Village is very strange.
The crazy upstairs is up to her usual, and this time some kind of Morse code coming through the kitchen wall is adding to her noise.
Among the things that Brits in America miss are tea and bacon - tea I understand, but bacon?!!! What an insult!
Currently trending at #1 is Robert Downey Jr. - because of the "birthday bash" he threw for his wife's 40th birthday. Well, at least he is being a decent husband, so, I guess that deserves the top spot.
Trending at #5 is the New Batsuit, that's "designed to impress" - instead of the Batman himself, I guess. Sad, that.
A lot of people are "rushing to get married" today as it's 11/12/13 - according to one reporter, it was initiated by men: because this way they will never forget their anniversary. Poor sods!
Trending at #6 is Jessica Simpson - because she is "slimming down". Well, duh!
Justin Timberlake was, apparently, honored by GQ as their "man of the year", and he "used this occasion to blast critics" and tell them that "none of your opinions counts" - you keep it classy, Justin.
Venezuela's "women dominate Miss Universe" - oh, what a great accomplishment that is!
And, finally, Bieber walked off the stage during his concert again, this time blaming it on food poisoning - not brain poisoning?

MORNING UPDATE - AUGUST 20
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Tuesday! The weather is returning to the August usual, dang it! Sniff spent at least half the night in the cat house, did his usual crazy routine in the morning, and is now peacefully sleeping on my bed. George was extra winy in the morning, then finally ate something, and is now snoozing on top of the bookcase.
Few days ago my dad proclaimed that he finally understood why his grandkids love maple syrup so much.
Yesterday I saw a huge and magnificent rainbow - which is always a pleasure, till you remember the meaning of it. Also, when I came home and goggled "the blessing", the words "the blessing on the rainbow" was a second choice on google - which is also pretty freaky.
For those of you concerned with the topic - I did claim my Godiva freeby for this month last Friday, and consumed it almost immediately in Central Park. Also, Godiva keeps bombarding me with emails that claim 40% off sale on some stuff (which is still cheepish compare to their original 50% off everything sales), but the "boutique" only had 25% off stuffs - thanks, but no thanks.
Currently trending at #1 is Al Roker - because today is his birthday. Well, at least he did not oversleep again.
Trending at #2: Giuliana Rancic -because she "Dishes On What Makes Her Marriage Work" - wow! People are trying to explain why they are happily married making national news?!
Trending at #6: 'NSYNC reunion - but as I was never a fan, and never considered Timberlake handsome or talented, this little tidbit does nothing for my blood pressure. However, I can see a bunch of wild-eyed people about my age eagerly anticipating.
Sara Gilbert came up with a new book called "Imperfect Environmentalist", which is supposed to be a reference guide to protecting your home from undesirable substances - um, creators and producers of Big Bang Theory: could you please involve her some more in the show to get her off the green train? We really, really don't need another celebrity on it, thank you very much!
"Old fashioned" Cheerios are a healthy way to start your day, especially if you add some berries to it - thank you, kind sirs and madams! I so would not know what to eat (or give kids for snack) without your constant vigilance!
"A second dog joins the White House team" - sequester, my gluts! We are paying about half a mil a year for the first one, and Hussein and Co. are getting another.
Kris Jenner photobombed the passionate embrace of her daughter Kourtney and the boyfriend Scott Disick - and she looked pretty drunk while doing it. Well, that's their usual way of making headlines.
One of the designers for Jaguar 7 called Aston Martin "pretty ugly" - play nice, boys!
And, finally, Kate's father took 2 snapshots of Will, Kate, Georgie, and their dog - in my opinion, the baby stills the show. Of course, those pictures already generated some snark from the Guardian. I love the last paragraph: "The image says they are like us, but we know their happiness rests on a bedrock of massive wealth and tradition. They have nothing to worry about. So maybe if we identify with them, we have nothing to worry about either. It is anxiety that gives birth to conservatism. This is a portrait of our frightened age." Um, moron, it is socializing your country, bowing down to political correctness, and kissing muslim ass that is destroying your country and creating massive anxiety, not the baby and the dog - or the baby's parents, for that matter.

MORNING UPDATE - AUGUST 18
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Sunday! Shavua Tov! Wishing all of you a fantastic week! The weather is almost back to normal, but still not scorching, which for August is also a yippee moment. George was extra demanding last night, so he ended up with something called "chicken, lobster, and herring delight" on his plate; a combo that, according to Baby Bro, would appeal only to a cat - or to someone who lives on Upper West Side. Sniff made sure his wounds were re-opened yesterday, and is presently sleeping on my bed.
My dad was treated to another lecture on the superiority of Russian culture and the beauty of Pushkin; he, in turn, asked the other party to read some of Shakespeare's sonnets (in original); when I asked why he decided to torture his unsuspecting friend, whose English skills are minimal, my dad responded that listening to the lectures on the superiority of Russian culture is a real torture - and I concur.
According to Channel 7, today is the 40th anniversary of Hip Hop, Gd help us!
Trending at # 1 is Nicki Minaj - because she modeled her own K-Mart collection. I am so staying away from that store!
Trending at # 2: Justin Timberlake, all because he dedicated a song to Trayvon together with Jay-Z - I can sort of understand Jay-Z's usual racism, but not Timberlake's moronism.
"Kylie Jenner's stylish 'Sweet 16' party" - thanks, but, once again, spare me the details.
Willow Smith "stepped out" in tie die t-shirt with matching hair - impeccable taste right here, what can I say.
In other news of fashion: "3 Stars Rock 1 Crazy Print 3 Different Ways" - basically, they showed up in outfits that looked like they were splattered with paint. How is that "rocking"?
According to Twitter, "Justin Bieber kant" spell - what a huge surprise!
And, finally, after 3 weeks of longing at her mother's house, Kate packed up Georgie and her mom and joined Will in their Wales estate - nice to be a Royal and have big enough house to accommodate your mummy-in-law.

MORNING UPDATE - JUNE 30
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Sunday! Shavua Tov! Wishing all of you a great week! The weather is - oh, hell, it's summer!
Baby Bro decided to have some fun: he got a new cat toy (which Sniffles loved) and also a special cat harness so that we may be able to take them out for walks. Dad decided to take the bull by the horns (or, rather, Sniff in his arms), and took him out this morning - unfortunately, home videos are not available.
History Channel is "profiling" America's favorite foods instead of Food Network - always fun. In case you are wondering which one is #1, it's burgers. And now they moved from 10 foods to 10 amazing weapons - got to love The History Channel!
Trending at #8: "Pride Parade 2013" - otherwise known as freaks and deviants infesting Manhattan.
Trending at #6: Twinkies, which are due to return to the shelves in July 15 - up yours, unions!
Miley Cyrus is "obsessed" with short shorts - obsession obviously stays below the neck.
"Justin Bieber's 6 Hottest Hookup Rumors" - only 6? That's good news - means less idiot girls are going crazy about him.
The first photo of Kim after giving birth was of her (Kim) taking a nap - I am sure she never looked smarter.
"Three Ingredient Spaghetti Sauce" - I should really start hosting my own cooking show because I can give you at least 4 such sauces.
Justin Timberlake is trending at #2 because he announced that he and his wife Jessica Biel are planing kids soon - congratulations! Definitely headline-worthy stuff!
And, speaking of parenthood: Channing Tatum claims that he was crying while watching his baby being born - aw, how sweet.
