Good Morning, peeps! Happy Sunday! It's sunny outside, with nice winds and temperatures in the 40s - global warming, what can I say.
Sniff is still sleeping on the radiator. George seems to be more impervious to cold. On the other hand, he is sleeping hard enough not to be awaken by a bowl of cereal on the table.
The crazy upstairs is extra diligent today.
Currently trending at # 2 is Michael Jordan - for reasons unknown.
Downton Abbey is at # 9 - because the cast was ordered to stay off Twitter. I guess Turkish influence is contagious.
Kristen Stewart is at # 5 - because she dyed her hair "orange". That should be # 1, not 5!
"How to land more dates" - why?!!! I don't have enough headaches?
Justin Bieber was flirting with Miley Cyrus in retaliation to Selena's flirting with Orlando Bloom - wow! It's getting curiouser and curiouser.
And, finally, "excitement builds" in New Zealand due to the imminent arrival of Will, Kate, and Georgie - at least they have class and they are good looking. Imagine the anticipation of our so-called First Family!

MORNING UPDATE - December 24
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Tuesday! It's cold again, darn it!!! George demanded extra petting yesterday; this morning he just quietly ate and went back to sleep. Sniff is just sleeping - without breakfast.
The crazy upstairs is back.
A few days ago Baby Bro was debating as to which stamp to affix on the letter to the court clerks. His choices included either Disney or flowers, so he settled on the Bug's Life one.
Currently trending at #1 is Keira Knightley - because she "can't stop wearing all-in-ones with clumpy brown boots." Breaking news, what can I say. But she can wear all she wants as long as she does not play another Austen heroine again.
Trending at #2 is Kristen Stewart - because it looks like she and R-Patz are planning to spend the New Year together on the Isle of Wight. I was never there personally, but was told that's it's a romantic and picturesque spot.
Winter coats are trending at #8 - why not #1? Definitely more important than Keira.
According to the people in the know, there are 5 things about you on which strangers make instant judgments, and your footwear is #1. Well, you would be wrong about me, but have fun making assumptions.
"Sheen bashes Robertson" - that just makes me laugh.
"5 offbeat New Year's suggestions for singles" - I will be sleeping with one or both of my cats, thank you very much.
Selena claimed that "she needs time for herself" - please, take all the time you want! We are not complaining.
"Costliest mistakes you can make with your taxes" - the costliest being an enemy of the current regime.
"Interview: Jon M. Chu's Insights Into The World Of Justin Bieber" - sometimes I really feel bad for our youth.
And, finally, breaking: Kate is pregnant again! This time she and Will are hoping for a little girl. Let the second round of the circus begin!

MORNING UPDATE - OCTOBER 6
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Sunday! Shavua Tov! Wishing everyone a fantastic week! Ladies, I hope at least yesterday you had a nice Rosh Chodesh without too much work (and the hubbies were at least attentive). The weather is slightly on the blah-y side, but not bad.
George can't decide what he wants to eat; treats, of course, are always welcome. Sniff, on the other hand, couldn't care less about the treats, but gets curiouser and curiouser about George's new food. He keeps sniffing it, tasting it, and then scratches the floor in attempts to cover it.
On Friday I decided to give the crazy upstairs a run for her money, but that, of course, is impossible.
Currently trending at #1 is Kris Jenner - because she was "gushing" about Kanye and what a "great dad" he is. Not to be obnoxious or anything, but, um, Kris, how would you know what a great parent looks like?
Trending at #7 is Kristen Stewart - because she stripped "down to boring underwear" in order to film a scene in her new movie. According to the detailed reports, it was a black bra and white underwear - very much newsworthy, indeed.
Miley Cyrus went on SNL to mock GOP, especially Michele Bachmann - how extremely refreshing and, most importantly, original!
Somebody named Rebel Wilson (no idea who that is) was put on the worst-dressed of the week list because she was walking around NY in a t-shirt with a huge picture of a cat on it - oh, give me a break! Big deal! There are so many uglier and scarier outfits to talk about.
Justin Bieber is on the short list for the "sexiest shirtless singer" - once again, people, learning some art history would have prevented that.
And, finally, there was a whole article dedicated to the new bed that Kate ordered for their renovated apartment at Kensington palace - come to think of it, I can also write a whole article about my bed, as I know of at least 3 people who used it before I got it, never mind what the cats do to it.

MORNING UPDATE - AUGUST 12
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! The weather is not the best, but definitely decent for NY August.
Got the best friends around!!!! They got me gun-lovers flippies!!!! Now hiding them from the shoe-eating cat otherwise known as Mr. Sniffles - who spent the night in the cat house, ate, drunk, and is now snoozing there again. George decided lately that he prefers the couch - where he is resting at present.
Almost boiled the tea kettle today - it has been a whole month since my last attempt to do so - progress!
Trending at #1: Kendall Jenner; it looks like she and her sister Kylie are "Out of Control With Their Partying" - well, they are just following the fine family traditions; who can blame them?
Trending at #2: Kristen Stewart - it looks like both her and R-Patz "Won Big at Teen Choice Awards" and did not show up for the ceremony. Well, teens should really find more interesting people to swoon about - and yes, I know that most, if not all of them, are dead, but still....
Selena Gomez did attend The Awards ceremony - in a dress with two huge slits. My previous statement stands.
Trending at #6 is an eighth grade exam from 1912 which basically shows how far our educational system has fallen. Hurray for the Department of Education, Teacher's Unions, coddling the poor, persecuted minorities, especially of the illegal variety, and the general idiocy of the political correctness!
Trending at #9: a rodeo clown in Missouri used an Obama mask, mocked our dear Embarrassment-in-Chief, and now "draws criticisms" - I guess it's only OK when you mock Republicans.
Judge in Tennessee changed baby's name from Messiah to Martin, sighting that only one person earned that name - that, in my opinion, is an over-reach of the humongous proportions. Since when is the government in charge of how you name your children?
A "noted" anthropologist from Rutgers claims that there are scientific reasons of why people fall in love - lady, seriously! An anthropologist?!!! Give me a break!
Pictures "surfaced" of Bieber in his birthday suite, "cradling a guitar" - where are good shrinks when you need them, along with the some men in white carrying straight jackets?
And, finally, Will and Kate are planning to release "family snapshots" of Georgie instead of official portraits - come on, he is a baby! Just tell people to stuff is either way!

MORNING UPDATE - AUGUST 1
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! Happy first day of August! The weather is getting worse again, but still not bad, although the a/c had to be on last night. Sniff came in to snuggle in the wee hours, licked my hand, and then plopped down on my face. After that he was waiting for me at the bathroom door, breakfasted with me, and is now sitting on top of the couch and contemplating his next move. George decided to skip the usual routine this morning and just continued sleeping on top of the bookcase.
Of the four different stamp designs we have Baby Bro chose everlasting love for our rent check - interesting move.
Happy Belated Birthday to Harry Potter - and Joanne Rowling!
Guess who is trending at #1 right now? Nope, that passed. Monica Lewinsky! Because the new details of her affair with Slick Willy came out, and, well, public needs to know. But, despite the news, Bill's lecture fees did not go down in price.
Helen Hunt is trending at #4 because she is going to "direct herself" in some kind of new movie - listen, you want to be in charge of your career, go for it! Just please refrain from any and all political involvement.
Trending at #7: Kristen Stewart - it looks like fame got to her head a bit, and she "flipped out on paparazzi". It's sort of newsworthy, but not really interesting due to lack of originality.
Trending at #10: Selena Gomez. It looks like she gave yet another interview about her new album, her 21st birthday, and, of course, Bieber - I think her fans need immediate intervention! I mean, how many times do they need to hear about all this?

Another one: "What K-Fed looks like today" - um, does anyone still care?
The discussion about Pauley Perette's t-shirt is still on - for more than 24 hours?
And, finally, according to Hollywood Reporter, the royal baby was "Bigger News Than the Pope, Obama's Second Inauguration" - way to go, little Georgie!

MORNING UPDATE - JULY 2
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Tuesday! The weather is usual for July in New York - which is: if you can walk on the street without suffocating or being drenched by torrential rain, you are fine.
Sniff went on a walk yesterday, but only stayed in the hallway - the great big outdoors scare him. George abandoned his amazon box and is now occupying a more snug box from the toilet paper.
The main fun of watching any kind of Western is to see women having shotguns at the ready and firing them at different kind of human scum.
Alicia Silverstone is trending at #3 because she launched a breast milk sharing program for vegan moms - how about launching a common sense initiative?
Jennifer Lawrence has committed her first fashion faux pas - and at a fashion show, of all places! Well, her pants were ridiculous, but at least she was dressed.
Kristen Stewart, on the other hand, was supposedly dazzling when she showed up "after keeping a low profile for months", while R-Patz was "spotted with a redhead" - twi-hearts definitely got their final hopes dashed.
Selena Gomez "got emotional" when she found out that her single became #1 - I am also emotional at the thought of horrible taste that our youth has.
Kaley Cuoco is dating the latest Superman, otherwise known as Henry Cavill - I don't know if this is funny for anyone not watching The Big Bang Theory, but it's hilarious to me.
Avril Lavingne's wedding festivities went on all night - did not know that she or her husband are chassidish.
No coffee yet as we mysteriously run out of milk last night.

MORNING UPDATE - MAY 20
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! The weather seems to be improving, but rain still threatens. Feline companions seem to have divided the apartment into the spheres of influence, although Sniff, in a true democrat fashion, continue to break the convention.
Alton Brown was talking about meringue, and Ina was cooking something delish with cream on one side and flavored butter on the other - yum!!!
Emma Watson claims that she does not care about sex appeal - what about W cover and that over cover "channeling" Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman?
Trending at #2: "Stewart Pattinson split" - poor twyhearts, the seesaw you are subjected to!
Trending at #7: "Bieber Gomez" - these ones seem to be attached for now; they were even sitting together at Billboard Awards with Taylor Swift towering over them (in more ways than one) - so, I guess what happened in Vegas did not stay in Vegas, and Jelena is back on for now. Selena also "dared in diagonally slit dress" at that star-studded gala - this is what's passing for empowered woman now a day?
At the same shindig J Lo appeared in red leotard that, according to a fan's tweet, channeled a Big Red Chicken from Dora - to me she looked like a strange witchy incarnation that somehow managed to misplace her skirt.
And, finally, Kate has been taking cooking classes from her Italian housekeeper in order to impress her hubby - I only wonder when is she going to actually put her newly acquired knowledge to use.
