MORNING UPDATE - October 24, 2014

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Friday! Happy First Day of Rosh Chodesh! Ladies, I know that it's Erev Shabat, so it's pointless to remind you to keep it light on the housework - but please make sure hubbies give you gifts!
The weather is improved somehow and is actually pretty decent for the end of October. 
The heat is on, so Sniff returned to his ninja sleeping position - half on the radiator, and half in the cat house. George also has a fave relaxation pose - he assumes the phoenix pose on the Baby Bro's bed and sticks exactly one claw into the curtain.
Yet another celeb who decided to write a picture book - Bethenny Frankel.
Yesterday had to assist two space cadets simultaneously with Percy Jackson books - but if one was nice, smile-y, and grateful, the other one took it upon himself to prove that I am a moron (proving instead that he is a water buffalo).
Big announcement - although the original Singing Slavs retired for no apparent reason, their baton was recently picked up by a younger group!
The crazy upstairs is really scaring me into thinking of calling the police and checking on her.
Currently trending at #2 is North West - because, according to her mommy, she "will have a job". Afraid to find out the details.
Trending at #3 is Jessica Simpson - because her one year old son "is killing us with cuteness." Gun control enthusiasts rest.
Trending at #8 is Pippa Middleton - because of her claim of not dieting. Yea, lady, pull another one.
On the other hand, "Selena Gomez shares her elaborate beauty rituals" - spare me!
"Honey Boo Boo cancelled" - people with taste, rejoice!
And speaking of gun control - Rihanna is in hot water for her recent appearance with a purse shaped like a gun! This time common sense rests, once again.
"Why Lena Dunhan died her hair mint green" - who exactly gives a flying banana?
"Adult treats for Halloween" - what, raiding your kids' stash is now passe?
Coffee this morning in a disposable cup from a bagel shop located next to a barbarian-overrun laundromat.

MORNING UPDATE - DECEMBER 18

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Wednesday! It's nice and cold outside, which, according to Al Gore & Co., is because the Arctic ice is melting at an alarming rate and simultaneously cooling the Golf Stream. 
George decided to quietly haunt me this morning and only started his loud meows when he realized that the chicken was on its way. Sniff escaped last night in order to explore our very sophisticated hallway.
Yesterday had "an educator" as a costumer - woman could not follow simple directions and was rude and obnoxious in the bargain; I wonder if she is a graduate of the The Teacher's College.
Currently trending at #1 is Pippa Middleton - because she is, reportedly, engaged! Mazal Tov! The world is waiting with baited breath for the discussions of the ring, the wedding venue, fashions, menu, etc, etc, etc.
Trending at #2 is Christina Aguilera - who, by performing with Lady Gaga, "put feud rumors to rest". The only thing that comes to mind is "freak show".
Brad Pitt is turning 50; he claims that "the one downfall of aging is 'your face kind of goes'"- well, duh!
Stars like Madonna, LeBron, Kim K., Gaga, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye, and Rihanna are supposedly displaying Illuminati symbols - how low did the Illuminati fall if they accepted those uneducated morons as their members?!!!
Kerry "tours typhoon-ravaged" Philippines - poor people can't get a break!
Justin Bieber claimed that he is "retiring" - yea, I'll believe it when I see it.

MORNING UPDATE - OCTOBER 1

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Tuesday! The weather rocks once again! Happy October 1st, for whatever it's worth. 
Cats got new Amazon box, which is very big, and for which, of course, they did a big battle. So far George is sleeping in in, and Sniff is once again sleeping in the cat house. 
So, the the big government shut down did happen. Mind you, the tax collection was not halted. I sort of feel bad for the people who decided to tour DC this week - all the attractions are closed. Of course, they can always observe the horror show in the White House.
Kelly Ripa spent 515 USDs on a pair of strangely looking shoes - unlike the previously mentioned occupant of the White House and his lady fair, she spent her own money, so, let her enjoy her silly shoes.
Pippa Middleton is not officially engaged, but she is already talking about what kind of wedding she would like to have - I sincerely hope that would not scare her unofficial bridegroom.
"Bieber get carried up Great Wall of China" - glad I did not see it.
Also saw Miley's Rolling Stone cover yesterday - another thing I really did not want to see.
Coffee this morning did not happen as there were mixed signals about who was getting milk.

MORNING UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 2

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! The weather remains blah-y - hopefully, not for long. Sniff was extra frisky yesterday and decided to run across my dresser - luckily for him, he did not break anything. George continues with his whining. Now they are both snoozing in their respective fave beds.
The constant barrage of voting ads has only one message for me "Man, this city is in deep doo doo!"
Currently trending at #1 is Khloe Kardashian who tweeted that she is not made of steel after her dear hubby was arrested for DUI - well, being constantly assaulted by the news of her dear family also requires the nerves of steel. Just dump him already and move on!
Trending at #3 is Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who joins the parade of newly minted celeb parents and shared the picture of her newborn boy - well, at least baby news are cute and sweet.
"Cher's romances through the years" - spare me, please!
Lava Lamp celebrates its 50th birthday - happy birthday, lamp!
Sweet potatoes are higher in potassium than bananas - I don't care, I am still not eating them.
"Speculation is rampant that habitually shirtless Justin Bieber is transitioning from pretty-boy pop star to hip-hop" - well, if that is true, he is going to hang out with some really great people and add more class to their already impeccable behavior.
Kate's sister Pippa kept floating in the news last night because there are rumors of her being engaged - and not to Prince Harry, like a lot of people speculated just last year.
And, finally, Will and Kate choose the first godparent for Georgie - one of Will's friends, who also happens to be a night club owner. Interesting choice, that.
