This past Wednesday I ended up
traveling to the previously unexplored part of the Lower East Side –
I went 3 more blocks east on Grand Street past . Funny vignettes
from that day:
Observed a bunch of old dudes speaking
Yiddish – they were Americans, and not Chassidim at all (which was
kind of refreshing).
Tourists are loosing a lot of money
traveling on tour buses when for a bargain price of $2.50 they can
board NYC bus and see the exact same things. Plus, they get an
opportunity to observe real Nyers in their real and unending
craziness.
According to Starbucks my name is
Camero – yea, go figure.
If you go to the farmer's market in
April, the only fruit available are apples – they look like they
were harvested back in October, but still cost 2-3 more than in the
store.
Pleasant discovery - drug stores begin to sell flippies in April as "seasonal goods"!

And, last but least, according to the
Rite Aid on Grand Street, my blood pressure returned to the pre-Obama
levels – set course of self-therapy that includes ignoring morons
in general, an liberals morons in particular, as much as possible is
working.
