MORNING UPDATE, October 18, 2012

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! The weather promises to be pretty enjoyable. 

Eminem is 40? Gosh, time flies - even when you are not having fun! Matthew Fox had to go on a special diet in preparation for his latest movie, which his Italian mother did not like - ah, Italian and Jewish mothers who always have to feed their kids! Also, there is a guy in England who legally changed his name to Darth Vader, and was recently punched by another dude who suspect Vader of having affair with his wife - I guess dark force entered him together with the new name. Ian McKellen almost refused to go back to his role as Gandalf because it's not challenging enough - I agree with you, Mr. McKellen. Gandalf if a challenging role, but not in these sucky movies; incidentally, loved you as Chauvelin! Bob Schieffer is trending at #6, because he will be the last moderator for the Presidential debate - which proves once again that the moderators are all leftie hacks and not impartial, as we are supposed to believe. Alton Brown was talking about Brussel sprouts yesterday, so I was afraid the food police had gotten to him - today is was a red velvet cake; whew! And Mark Summers is still talking about America's fave munchies - did you know that Dr. Pepper is one year older than Coke?

MORNING UPDATE - NOVEMBER 21

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! The weather is simply great for a November day in NYC.
Sniff and George decided to be extra snugly today - and Sniff even proceed to lick my arm 
Somebody stole a bible yesterday - I wonder what kind of present it's going to make.
The latest issue of Men's Health is featuring a whole article on lip balms - please spare me these guys!
Currently trending at #1 is Ginnifer Goodwin - because she joins a long list of celebs who got pregnant recently. Seriously, who sprinkled what in their Evian ice cubes?
"Man's dog gets on Obamacare" - and so the circus continues.
And speaking of pets, a couple in Boston listed their feline companion as part of the family during 2010 census - after which the kitty was promptly called for jury duty. I was toying with an idea of listing our pets on the census and taking them to vote - well, I still got time before the next elections.
"Why Emimem went back to blond" - who gives a flying banana?
Wild turkeys invaded a neighbourhood in Staten Island - birds, watch out!
"Is (Kendall) Jenner romancing Taylor Swift's ex?" - interesting way to describe the situation.
A new Harvard study just found that people who eat nuts regularly live longer - well, duh!
Aussies don't really want to go to Bieber's concerts - hurray for peeps Down Under!
Kate "recycled" another outfit - another piece of breaking news delivered to us by HuffPo.

MORNING UPDATE - OCTOBER 29

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Tuesday! It's chilly today, but still sunny - and if I could, I would wear my flippies today.
George is getting slightly less whiny; this morning he ate his chicken almost without any complains, and is now resting in an undisclosed location. Sniff is also beginning to like George's food and partaking of it more and more. He also likes to try and bury all the food after he is done eating - and as it's all on the kitchen floor, the picture is beyond hilarious.
The crazy upstairs is up to her usual schtick.
Baby Bro would like to report the local libraries to ASPCA and PETA for the cruelty to tortoises.
Liberals are hypocrites in everything they do.
Currently trending at #1 is Guy Fieri - because he had to testify about his Lamborghini that was stolen back in 2011. Off with their heads! How dare they steal a man's baby - his beloved ride?!!
Trending at #6 is Eminem - because he is debuting his duet with Rihanna. Their timing is flawless - just in time for Halloween.
Lisa Kudrow is also in the news - partly because she claimed that she was "hideous" before her nose job. Way to promote self-esteem in young women, Lisa!
"Jonas Brothers announce their breakup" - sniff, sniff! They claim that they are parting ways due to "creative differences" - is there any other official excuse for a band to break up?
Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan are against the reboot of Charmed, claiming that it's a "lame" idea - I hate to disappoint you lades, but the show got extremely lame after the 3rd season anyway.
"Opulent new Range Rover" - somehow opulent and Range Rover do not fit in the same sentence.
"5 fat-fighting chairs" - what happened to actually getting out of the chair and simply exercising?!!
"Austin Mahone vs. Justin Bieber: Who Has Hotter Abs?" - interesting things people are concerned with, what can I say.
And, finally, Georgie gave a huge smile to his mummy in the official christening photo - awww!
