MORNING UPDATE - June 23, 2014

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! The weather is nice and hot. Snow managed to get up close and personal with her favorite human.
Going to a library that's located inside a community center is an interesting experience.
Tom Hanks is currently trending at # 1 because he is producing a new film that will be directed by Meg Ryan - I guess they missed each other since the Mail.
Mariah Carey is at # 2 - as she was "accused of tweeting 1997 photo as present-day selfie". Ah, give her a break! So, she wanted to delight her fans, big deal.
Sofia Vergara is at # 5 - because her friendship with Ellen is making Portia jealous. Um, Portia, if your side is to be believed, people are born straight or otherwise, so, no need to be jealous.
Michael Douglas was "spotted" in King David hotel in Jerusalem this weekend, as he and his wife were celebrating their son's Bar Mitzvah - drat, the festivities were only a bus ride away!
"Sizzling Jessica Simpson" - I hope nobody got burned.
"How to keep cool without air conditioning" - by getting rid of all the environmentalists and their idiocy.
"Celebrities and their pregnancy cravings" - most of the listed ones claim to crave fruits, veggies, and fish. Give me a break!
It's been five years since Jon and Kate split up, but they still "hurl insults on each other" - class all the way.
North West had a first birthday "bash" that included Ferris wheel and a concert stage - I wonder what kind of enjoyment a one year old would derive from this nonsense.
And, finally, "The Guy Who Married Kate Middleton Turns 32" and his grandma gave him a helicopter for this occasion - happy birthday, Will!

MORNING UPDATE - DECEMBER 2

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! Happy Fifth Day of Chanukah! Wishing all of you a fantastic week!
The weather seems to be warming up. Kitties are warming up too - George complains more, and Sniff fights more often. Now, however, they are blissfully quite, with Sniff snoozing in the cat house next to me.
Speaking of cats - would like to institute Bring Your Pet To Work Day, as our floor seems to be home to a few mice. Would be really interesting to see the results.
Yesterday 2 barbarians from step-mama country were complaining about the lack of organic apples in the local fruit store. Was dearly tempted to offer them to go back to whence they came and grow their own very organic apples.
The latest issue of Men's Health has a very interesting article about health and psychological benefits of being grateful. Basically, simple mantra of "count your blessings" has a whole field of psychology growing out of it. But, of course, people who have faith are supposed to be backwards, dim, and uneducated.
Both Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are flitting around the top ten currently trending because it looks like he wants to "woo" her back by any means necessary, even pancakes! Wasn't he the one who walked out on her? Plus, since when is she eating pancakes?!!
Jeff Bezos claims that he has a "futuristic" idea that will ensure the package delivery in 30 minutes or less - not if you partner with USPS, dude! Their futurist ideas seem to include the employment of tortoises.
Yet another holiday survival guide for singles, including the requisite picture of a woman with the cat! Seriously?!!! I would take my cats - or the cat pictured - over any guy I ever dated. Believe me, my holiday season is richer due in large parts to minimal amounts of male idiocy.
10 "savvy" end of year tax moves - number one would be getting rid of the IRS; that would definitely be "savvy"!
"Kris and Bruce speak out about split" - assuring their kids on camera that everything will be fine! No wonder their offspring is so touched in the head.
And, finally, Bieber went shirtless again - this time in Sidney; poor Aussies!

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! Happy Third Day of Chol Hamoed Succot! The weather rocks - at least it does for me 
The cats were very vocal again this morning, and finally quieted down in their respective spots on my bed and in the cat house. George is extra annoying with his slightly unbalanced demands for food, and Sniff is emitting his battle cries a bit too much lately.
Mom's radio is on the fritz, so I loaned her mine - and now our mom is listening to Rush on Hello Kitty boombox. Do I rock or what?
According to the latest intelligence reports, there are young musicians on the streets of Moscow that are playing Vivaldi in order to collect money for Justin Bieber's assassination - Canadian friends, I think it's time to protect your national treasure and hide him somewhere where nobody will see or hear him.
Currently trending at #1 is Chris Brown - because he is officially tired of his "bad boy image". Well, hell, maybe if you behaved like a decent adult, you would not get that image?
Trending at #7 is Michael Douglas - because it looks like he "slammed" US prison system after "Emmy win". Dude, seriously, you need anti-psychotic meds more than your current wife, whom you oh so nobly abandoned!
Kim K. has a new "bestie" - Oprah. Oh, here is a match made in heaven! I mean, I know that Kim does not poses a huge amount of grey matter, but why does she keep hanging with such obvious racists?
"The ideal age for women to get married" - when they find a man who at least remotely resembles Darcy or Captain Wentworth.
"The best over the counter drugs" - the ones that work for you!
Will and Kate left Georgie with nanny in order to attend church - why is this news? Because they went to church or because they left the baby with his nanny? Or because they left the house together?

Good Morning, peeps! Happy Wednesday! The weather is on the rainy side, but still not bad for August.
Russian neighbours rock - they play music at interesting hours and entertain with their everyday conversations.
George, as usual, is sleeping on my bed.
Sniff was looking at his food a bit too intently this morning, and I was wondering if he started to question the freshness of it as well as his roommate. But Baby Bro postulated that he is probably taken to emulating his mistress and praying before partaking of a meal.
Currently trending at #1: Matthew McConaughey, because he "shines in Dallas Buyers Club Trailer" - a worthy reason to shot up to the top.
Trending at #2: Lamar Odom. The latest on this worthy individual: he is not missing; he is in hiding; there are also speculations about his NBA career - all extremely fascinating stuff, I tell you.
Amber Valetta "credits her entire career to haircut" - at least it was something above her neck, and not below.
Jessica Simpson showed off first two pictures of her new baby - and so the trend continues.
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are separated - I feel old, because I still remember them getting married, and that was 13 years ago.
"Rare $2,500 chicken is the "Lamborghini of Poultry" - oh, holy mackerel! I really don't want to know anymore.
Gwyneth Paltrow exercises with a broom, and that's what keeps her in that terrific shape she is in - oh, what an insult to witches that is!
The newest picture of Kate is now making different waves, claiming that she is just another celebrity who got her figure back after only one month of having a baby, and that sends negative message to women everywhere - if women everywhere, and especially their significant others, place that much stock in celebrity photos, I pity them and their progeny.
