Good Morning, peeps! Happy Friday! Happy Erev Shabat! It's cold and cloudy outside - typical October in our fair city.
George decided that he prefers turkey (at least for now). Sniff finally figured out all our tricks of preventing him from leaving the apartment, and now it's just fun to watch him trying to trick us.
Due to poor planning ended up with half a gallon of Chalav Israel milk.
The crazy upstairs is alive and well, so the local precinct can rest easy - at least in this matter.
Currently trending at #1 is Ellen DeGeneres - because she dressed up as Amal Alamuddin for Halloween. The end result was, well, a bit strange.
Trending at #7 are Elsa and Anna - I guess for no other reason but for the fact that they are Elsa and Anna.
Big Bang Theory is at #10 - because Kaley Cuoco got a Hollywood star. Enjoy, Kaley!
Paris Hilton "globally dominated" fragrance industry for the past decade - as usual, consumers went for the name, because if you close your eyes, you won't be able to differentiate between Paris's fragrance and about twenty others.
"Haunted White House" - "How Obama, White House celebrate Halloween". There is no need to dress up at all, Michelle and Barry, as you resemble ghouls and Dementors the 365 days a year, not just on October 31.
"Miley's next big move: going glam for good cause" - of course, "good cause" just happens to be the one that Hollywood and lefties support.
"The best drinking tours in America" - let's go, people!
"How to shop for steak" - um, you go to the butcher's counter?
According the new study, US does not treat new parents as well as other industrialized nations - unless, of course, we are talking about illegal invaders, which, of course, the study did not account for.
No news on Bieber - but he is still alive and still did not decamp back to Canada.
Coffee this morning in my Coffee Bean/Tea Leaf mug.
The Best Motto

MORNING UPDATE - June 26, 2014
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! It's really hot outside, but not so bad in the shade. Snow is sunning herself while a cute kitten came to claim her breakfast.
My nephew served as a volunteer animal control representative recently by being asked to remove a chameleon from a neighbor's apartment.
Goodreads continues to entertain - their latest suggestion is Essential Manners for Men based on - guess what? The fact that I read The Prince!
Currently trending at # 1 is Kanye West - because he is still wearing a necklace in honor of his daughter's first birthday and because he avoided doing really stinky community service by teaching fashion at LA Trade Technical College. Nice move, Kanye!
Trending at # 3 is George Stephanopoulos - for winning "ABC's 'Chief Anchor Crown". I don't know which one is more pathetic - the award or the winner.
Paris Hilton nearly missed her flight because of the abundance of her luggage - breaking piece of world news that one is.
"Right, wrong way to tie laces" - the only phrase that comes to mind is "have a lobotomy".
"Red wine that pairs perfectly with pizza" - it's wine and it's pizza! Just enjoy it - without turning into the Crane brothers!
Katy Perry just shot to the first place because she demonstrated at least 3 times that she loves America. How? By promoting Hillary, by calling Biden "Q-T" on the Instagram, and probably by supporting Obama - I think America can do without this tender loving.
"Inside Kim Kardashian's romantic honeymoon" - spare me the details.
No news on the Bieber front.
And, finally, I sort of figured out how to use the coffee machine.

MORNING UPDATE - May 20, 2014
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Tuesday! The weather is simply fabulous! Kitties decided to ambush me by the shower door - what precisely they needed, though, still remains a mystery. And yesterday they both run to greet me after work - which more than made up for the absence of cold beer.
Yesterday had to deal with a customer who demanded to see the summer reading list.
"Kimye Wedding countdown: a Look Back at Kanye West' Old Flames" - spare me both, please!
"What a Godzilla expert thinks about the new film" - there is such a thing as Godzilla expert? Wow, live and learn!
"Horoscope inspired trips" - gullible moron alert.
Charlize Theron is officially romantically involved with Sean Penn - paging local psychiatric hotline.
"China bans Windows 8 on government computers" - just because they can.
A "transit nerd" took his girl on the tour of Manhattan underground in order to propose - very romantic.
Speaking of romance, Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton "are not banging" - phew! What a load off!
And, finally, Vogue was talking about Kate Upton and the "return of the bosom"; return of the brains and class - not so much.
Coffee this morning in my wavy glass from the Amaretto set.

MORNING UPDATE - JUNE 27
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! The weather is - well, it's summer in New York, hell damn fart!
Sniff was running around last night - which he stopped doing since the beginning of the heat wave. He also got a new box - courtesy of Amazon selling 36 rolls of toilet paper (no need to worry about local barbarians stealing it). So, this morning Sniff was familiarizing himself with the new toy. And now both of them are sleeping in my room in their usual designated spots.
Someone finally switched the TV in our laundromat from ABC to Nick Jr. - and as much as Nick Jr. is a bunch of stupidity, the ability of not seeing the moronettes on the View is vastly appealing.
According to Ina, you can't make meringues in rainy or humid weather - it's sunny and clear, ladies! Let's make meringues! Because that's the first thought that pops into your mind on sunny and clear day!
Happy Birthday, Dobby! I wish your spirit would rub off on people from my step-mama country who can't appreciate the freedom they were granted!
Emma Watson claims that she owns only 8 pair of shoes - give me a break! Even I have that much! That stunning revelation, by the way, came after Emma was supposedly shocked when she saw the contents of Paris Hilton's closet. Who cares about the contents of either of their closets?!!!
Gwyneth Paltrow is trending at #3 because she was "flaunting" her "hot body" in "sexy lingerie" - at least she was not advising anyone on government policy.
Stanford, CA was proclaimed the smartest city in the US - New York did not make the list. But what surprises me the most is that any place from California made it on this list to begin with.
Kristen Bell proposed to the father of her baby via Twitter - aw, how sweet! Apparently, she could only do that after DOMA "was struck down" - what is it, another idiocy a la Brad Pitt?
Kris Jenner showed the picture of baby Kim, and even haters have to agree that she was an adorable baby - almost all babies are adorable, idiots! Unfortunately, that rarely translates into adulthood.
A farmer in Washington is feeding his pigs pot - the craving for bacon among some of the people I know just intensified
Justin Bieber's monkey is about to be released from quarantine in the German Zoo - unfortunately, the Bieber itself not quarantined from the general population.
And, finally, the renovations on Kensington Palace that were done in anticipation of Kate's baby cost British taxpayers around 1.5 million bucks - hum, Brits, if you think that's a lot of lettuce, do you want to exchange? We could send you Hussein and Michelle, and you can send them on vacations, and we will pay for Will and Kate's house.
Coffee this morning in my white glass from Target.
