The battle for the supremacy of the cat house is raging on. Also, Baby Bro had a brilliant idea of loaning George to CPA - if people can take care of him for about two weeks, they can proof that they are fit parents. Sniff, meanwhile, just entertained himself with a crumpled piece of foil that he liberated from the recycling pile.
The ongoing entertainment in my life - people periodically hinting and/or telling me that as I have no kids, I don't understand something, or don't get it, or can't really have an opinion on it. I can't really call it being smug-married - so, Bridget aficionados, please get me a proper term smile emoticon
Yesterday got a customer who could not find one single author whose last name begins with a letter F in the young readers section.
Currently trending at #3 is Leo DiCaprio - because he bought an apartment in Greenwich Village; well, he is going to fit right in with all the other envirowacos residing there; I am just wondering at how often he is going to take a subway as opposed to riding in a limo.
Trending at #8 is Willow Smith - because of some "controversial photos". Nice going, what can I say.
"Kim K. says the racism is alive" - of course it is! You know who tops the list, Kim? The current love of your life - despite his lowering himself to shack up with a white girl.
Jennifer Lawrence claims that fame made her rude - OK, Jennifer, acknowledging the problem is the first step.
"Mother's Day gift ideas" - how about not forgetting Mother's Day?
"Why Katie Couric wants you to give up sugar" - how about Katie Couric remembers what a journalist is really supposed to do and starts candid reports on her idol in the White House and leaves our sugar consumption the hell alone?
"Cheap protein sources" - yea, the economy is getting better every day.
Justin Bieber "is in trouble again" because he got a parking ticket - OK, that is just overdoing it; parking ticket is only "trouble" for ordinary folk.

MORNING UPDATE - DECEMBER 20
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Friday! Happy Erev Shabat! It's warming up!! Flip flops were worn, of course. Sniff is in a very friendly mood, and even allowed some snuggle time. George got a chance to explore the inside of my dresser, and is now snoozing on my bed.
The crazy upstairs already performed her routine.
A woman came into the store looking for a book on the war of 1812 that's "on the child's level"; as she herself had no idea that America actually fought some kind of a was in 1812, I offered her a book on American history "on the child's level".
Currently trending at #1 is Bristol Palin - because of her support for Phil Robertson. Crucify both of them!
Trending at #2 is Katie Couric - because her talk show was cancelled. I guess once she had to do something slightly different from constant attacks on the right wingers and spreading malicious lies about them, it sorta did not work out.
Trending at #4 is Harry Potter - as it is becoming a stage play. Have mixed feelings about that one.
Trending at #8 is Kate Upton, who "sizzles in bikini" for her new movie trailer. Feminists, where are you on this one?
Somebody had a bright idea of inserting our celebrities into the classic works of art - the result confirmed my earlier assertions that most of modern entertainers are butt ugly.
"A foodie pilot for Pakistan International Airlines" delayed an international flight for more than 2 hours because he refused to take off without sandwiches on board - parents of picky eaters, rejoice! You have it pretty easy after all.
"Anxiety linked to higher risk of a stroke" - duh!
New York Daily News actually compiled the list of Justin Bieber's top worst moments of 2013 - I guess doing it to Obama is a bit risky.

MORNING UPDATE - JUNE 5
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Wednesday! Weather rocks once again! Last night Sniff decided that maybe it might be my week as well and came to snuggle, lick, and head butt - all, of course, while I was sleeping.
Marc Summers was talking about midnight snacks and munchies - in honor of college graduations?
Yesterday I observed a following tableau: a little boy of about 4 or 5 was walking in Central Park together with his liberal UWS daddy. He (the boy) had a piece of soft pretzel in his hand - but that was too boring. So, he started waving it in the air and yelling: "Look, daddy, this is my gun!" - take that, libtards and Bloomberg! Boys will be boys, and they love to play with guns!
Daniel Radcliffe would like to star in Star Wars - that would be an interesting battle of different nerds and crazies.
Adele is trending at #3 because Rolling Stones would like to perform together with her - again, that would be an interesting mix of differently disturbed people.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is pregnant and engaged (to the father of her future child) - mazal tov!
A dude claims to have lost 250 lb on the 99c store diet - I believe it's called semi-starvation.
Emma Watson almost had a wardrobe malfunction at the premiere of her latest movie - here is my thought: with some many clothes "malfunctions" of the stars lately, maybe it's time to rethink the clothing choices?
Among the 10 best foods for you salmon is mentioned once again - is it why it's so effin expensive?
"Katie Couric isn't as nice as you think" - yea, no joke, Sherlock! Right wingers have known this little tidbit for a while.
Amazon is expanding into online grocery business - so now we would be able to do a one stop shopping for both mind and body.
And, finally, Kate "recycled" her outfit from the Diamond Jubilee to the 60th Anniversary of coronation with a minor difference: her baby bump - oh, what a profound observation!
