Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! The weather is blah, but, hopefully, this will be the last day of it.
Sniff is back in the cat house; this morning I woke up to him looking down at me like a Egyptian deity once more. George got a new batch of food (which actually smells like turkey) and keeps savoring it. He also got 3 new Amazon boxes to enjoy.
There was a street vendor on 47th Street selling arba minim - man, I love this country!
A few days ago I asked my roommate what the heck Tetris was, because I had no blinking idea. He demonstrated it to me, after which he ended up playing Tetris for about half a hour - man, am a a bad influence.
Currently trending at #1 is Powerball - because, hey, the last drawing was on 9/11, and that was very, very important.
Trending at #2 is January Jones - it looks like Miley's current fiance was January's boy friend at one point, and they were caught sexting. Oh, what a tangled web!
Trending at #4 is Abigail Breslin - because her current co-stars did not recognize her. Yea, I wouldn't have recognized her either, judging by the latest pictures.
"Wine Dangers for Women" - drinking an extra glass and forgetting what kind of jerks and mama's boys guys are?
The reason Dallas residents are the happiest in America might be because "their spiritual beliefs are a positive guiding force to them" - duh!!!
Charlie Sheen never graduated high school - which shows once again that working hard on your education does not pay.
Patrick Stewart tied the know this weekend, with Ian McKellan officiating - man, oh, man, this one I really wanted to see!
"Vatican's #2" was "hinting" that celibacy is "open for discussion" - how, um, enterprising of them.
Will is quitting his military career - well, good luck with fatherhood, your highness!
And, finally, his wife "stunned" at her first red carpet appearance after giving birth - well, I don't think people expected anything less of her.
Coffee this morning in my Disney Dalmatian Spots mug.
The Best Motto

MORNING UPDATE - JUNE 24
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Monday! The weather is in triple H again, @#%&! Feline companions are once again conserving their energies - George is sleeping on my bed, and Sniff was taking advantage of the cat house till his favorite human showed up - at which point he went into the hall to bath himself in the company of the said human.
The crazy upstairs robbed off on us, because this morning Baby Bro and his guests were vacuuming their shoes.
Anne Burell is making falafel sandwiches - I don't think Israelis will approve of her method of cooking it
Selma Blair is trending at #2 because Charlie Sheen basically got her fired from his new show Anger Management - which in itself is pretty ironic.
Channing Tatum is trending at #4 for 2 reasons: he "was talking politics" at the premier of White House Down and people got to see his daughter for the first time - well, White House is down since January of 2009, and please spare me the celeb politics and the adoration of their idiot fans.
Nelson Mandela is trending at #10 because of the "critical" condition of his health - no mention of the critical condition of the South Africa after the fall of the "apartheid regime".
"Summer Style Tips from Kendall and Kylie" - thanks, but no - I'll pass.
"Pitt's Ever-Changing Hair" - and people accuse me of folly because I collect Barbies?!!
And, finally, according to the latest rumors, the private suite where Kate is supposed to give birth, offers a "comprehensive wine list" - because that's the first thing a woman in labor or immediately after delivery thinks about - what posh wine to consume.
Coffee this morning in my funky green mug from Yves Rocher.

MORNING UPDATE - APRIL 11
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday! Happy Rosh Chodesh! Ladies, again - LIGHT housework and presents from your husbands! The weather is still crazy and much colder - no word on Ohio prosecutor filing new charges against Phil. The crazy upstairs is alive and kicking. George still prefers his amazon box to my bed, unless he wants to be petted - in which case it has to be done on my bed. Sniffles dropped Survival Cracker box from the top of the book case, then fluffed his tail 6 times its usual size and ran around the place like crazy. Last night Baby Bro re-arranged the canned goods in the pantry - because my neurotic arrangement of them was irritating his neurosis. Argentina's President will not be invited to Iron Lady's funeral, which "political snub" will further diplomatic antagonism between 2 countries - who needs good diplomatic relations with Argentina anyway? Back in 2010 Taylor Swift claimed that black eyeliner is one "beauty tool" she can't live without - and yet she appeared on the latest issue of Wonderland magazine without it! Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, appeared with a bunch of black dots on her face - 18th century fashion taken to idiotic extreme. Ellen Pompeo showed up in pants strongly resembling pajamas - and here I thought only guys rolled out of bed and went straight to their destination. Karlie Kloss (some kind of Victoria's Secret supermodel) got an "it" hairdo which VS fans do not appreciate - somehow I never envisioned Victoria's fans concerned with hairdos. Basically, there are so many fashion-related news - stop the presses! Charlie Sheen appeared on Leno and talked about doing an episode of his show with Lindsay Lohan - all I can say is, I can't figure out who has more class, Charlie or Lindsay. PETA is trying to scare kids off milk by claiming on their billboards that drinking milk increases zits - why don't you starve yourselves and leave the kids alone, you jackals?!! In California police arrested 5 men who were rubbing banks "Hollywood style" - big whoop; if they robbed the bank Obama-style, that would have been a height of skill! Kim Kardashian is sticking to all black outfits for the third trimester - I guess her stylist was dispatched to Jewish Brooklyn for style tips. "Justin Bieber is only half as popular as he seems on Twitter" - there is still hope for the younger generation. And last, but not least in the fashion news - "Kate Middleton Helped Make Emerald the Color of 2013". Wow, did not know that the duchess and I have similar taste - at least in colors. Coffee this morning in my Disney Mini Bean Bag Plush with Mickey and Friends mug.
