Good Morning, peeps! Happy Thursday!
Today Show was doing the special on the Moon landing - and, somehow, forgot to curse that Chicago slime that basically ended American space exploration. Michelle Obama is trending at #7 due to her appearance on Leno and her "teasing comment" to Gabby Douglas - at least this time we don't hear about her elegant clothes. Immediately after, at #8, is dark chocolate - cosmic coincidence? And at #10, for reasons unknown, swine flu - go figure. And #1 phrase you should never utter while traveling is "do you speak English?" - because it might insult the locals; that basically confirms my snobby traveling policies - stay away from America-hating countries (which, frankly, encompasses most of the Globe), but this way you can enjoy your vacation and won't support assorted barbarian scumbags.

MORNING UPDATE, September 24, 2012
Good Morning, peeps! And, yes, it is officially morning till 1 pm est! Happy Monday! The weather is beautiful - hurray, fall!
The biggest buzz this morning - the fashions from the Emmys; the not so huge buzz - how many people at the Emmys admitted to planning to vote for Romney. Another horrible line from the Emmys - Mad Men got 17 nominations and no Emmy - my heart bleeds borsch. Jo Rowling is selling her house in Edinburgh for only a few mil - any takers? I mean, she did write the last HPs in there! Then there is a list of best sandwiches in the US - none of them looks like parteigenosse Michelle would approve of; on the other hand, American children do not approve of Michelle-approved school lunches. There is also a list of best dresses for your 20s, 30s, and 40s (life stops after 49?); not surprisingly, I never possessed even one of the recommended garments. And last, but not least: more reasons to eat chocolate - the biggest of which is you eat whatever the heck you want (in moderation), and enjoy!
Coffee this morning in my Dalmatians mug.

MORNING UPDATE, October 12, 2012
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Friday! Happy Erev Shabat! Weather is slightly blah-y, but it's October. I opted out of watching the debate last night, and went food shopping instead - Gd bless this country, it is still fun (food shopping, not the politics).
Chocolate is trending at #5 right now - for no apparent reason other than people are searching for chocolate that much - yay, hurray! We definitely need anti-Dementor medicine more than ever. And critics are stunned, stunned I am telling you because Nobel Peace Prize was given to European Union - but giving it to terrorist murderer looks to be OK. Another huge stunner: the price of stamps is going up - heck, you could have knocked me down with an F, I was so surprised! And a new father somewhere in England build a top speed stroller that can go as fast as 50 mph - surprisingly, his girlfriend does not let him put their son in it; typical male - instead of helping with the kid, he plays around with toys. Whitney Houston's daughter, all of 19 years old, is engaged - mazal tov! And, her engagement ring looks a lot like the one William gave to Kate - I am sure that is precisely what our Founding Fathers were dreaming about.
Coffee this morning in my San Fran latte mug; Benny's fat free milk in Chivas cup.

MORNING UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 22
Good Morning, peeps! Happy Sunday! Moadim L'Simcha! Happy Second Day of Chol Hamoed! The weather rocks!
Happy 25th Anniversary to my family! 25 years in this wonderful country!
Feline companions were extra frisky over the Holidays - George kept demanding his due, and Sniff kept running all over the place and emitting battle cries. Now they are both quietly sleeping - Sniff in the cat house, and George on my bed.
Happy Belated Birthday to Hermione Granger Weasley!
My e-mail keeps bombarding me with offers for the singles over 50 - ah, go to hell and stay there!
FB, on the other hand, keeps suggesting that I join a group called "Frum Divorce" - Zuck, I was never married, you crazy bastard!
Currently trending at #1 is Mila Kunis - because she is "tiring of divorce drama"; well, how about not messing up with a married guy next time - even if, according to their former co-star Laura Prepon, he was her first kiss? And if they were so hung up on each other, why did Ashton marry someone else? Sowing wild oats?
Fergie and Josh Duhamel are still in the top ten after they shared the pictures of their baby a few days ago - I guess the baby was extra cute.
According to some journalists, during her latest performance Miley proved once again that she got a lot of talent - for some reason, she still had to do it half naked.
Rihanna is trending at #5 because she posed with "protected primates" in Thailand, after which local police arrested people for allegedly "peddling protected primates" - nice going, Rihanna!
It looks like a lot of fans didn't want R-Patz as Edward because of his bushy eyebrows - like, seriously?!! That's so easily corrected!
"Carbs that are good for you" - oh, for pete's sake, give me a break, will you?!! Food is good for you, period! Just eat a variety of it and don't overeat.
"4 Reasons Chocolate is Good For Your Health" - only 4?!! Hang those researchers if they don't come up with at least 10!
Coffee this morning in my striped glass from Target.
